I hate dealerships!

I dropped off my car to get the axel clicking TSB done along with some squeeks on the vents. A couple days later, they told me that they had to order some parts for the vents, but the axel was fixed. next day, they called and said the parts are backordered and will take a week. so I called them back on monday, and said I want my car back, and will bring it back when the parts come in. I specifically asked my service advisor to call me to let me know when my car will be ready for me to pick up. So TODAY is the day that i am suppose to pick up my car. I called in the morning and asked for my service advisor and the receptionist said he was on lunch, I left him a message. He never called me back... so I went there after work, to my suprise... my service advisor is not there. the receptionist said he's not in today! WTF!!?!??!!? so I got my car back... and as I drove off the lot, I hear the SAME axel clicking noise!!! I dont' know what to do... should I bring the car back? or take it to another dealership? this was at frontier. i've taken my car there twice, and both times, I left the place not a happy customer....

who was your service advisor?

to tell you the truth, they do have issues with their customer service. when i have my car serviced there, i never have problems with them complaining about mods, BUT they are very lazy about calling back and updating the customer. they should be much more proactive on keeping the customer updated about the progress of the car. i ended up having to call the dealership myself to find out how my repairs/service was going. good luck with getting your car's service completed.

David,

I had my rear axle bolts replaced on 12.19.05. The noise is starting to rear its ugly head again. The rattle is not as pronounce as it was before. However, I will be bringing my G back this week or early next week.

There are so many dealerships in the Bay Area, take your business elsewhere. I'm on my third dealership!

Which is the best dealship to take your car to?? I have a few minor mods under the hood, so Mod friendly dealership will be nice add on. My 30k service will be up in about 4 months.

I don't know why, but this is typical of the Bay Area Infiniti service departments. They are beyond rude, have absolutely no common courtesy, and make up excuses non-stop. I had much better service from Nissan, and I am now willing to pay money to an independent shop (instead of warranty) so as not to have to deal with these ******!

On another note, I was at Lexus of Serramonte today, and left in shock and awe. The service is top notch- I was offered coffee, donuts, and treated like a million bucks. Respect means alot to me, and all I can say is no more Infiniti's for me...

Yea... there is something about these bay area dealers... I bought my car in concord, and that dealership much better. their sales and service are super friendly. they go out of their way for you. I left a message for my service adivsor 2 days ago on how my axle is still clicking, and I still haven't gotten a call back! wtf is that?!?!?
