Would anyone classify me as completely crazy for thinking about going on this run, coming all the wasy from Sac town? I am kind of new to all this but it sounds like a really good time. And if there are some folks from Fairfield and Stockton I would probably do a caravan with them. Decisions decisions.

 

I wont say "crazy" at all, atleast not completely , it should make a nice and scenic drive down from Sac, would be great if you guys can get a caravan together...not sure about your situation but I would've look into one of those beach front rentals or perhaps a cozy B/B's around S/C and spend a night...hope you could join us.

 

Sac is only 37 mins from me so whats another 37mins to meet up with me and caravan down together

 

If caravan is coming down south 680 through Walnut Creek, we could meet up and add to the caravan to Seramonte. Me, plus one or two others.

Wow . . . Looks like a nice group of people, which we have assembled, here. This should prove to be quite a fun run.

 

this afternoon i drove the stretch from where 9 and 35 intersect all the way down to santa cruz. it was a lot of fun and my first time doing it. i had a blast, even though i was stuck behind a honda insight for a few miles of it

 

How was the road condition? drove part of way last week, there were sign of mud slide day before and the repair crew was out at coupe of different places.

 

yeah there was one spot where they had stopped off a mudslide. it didn't affect the road width. the roads were clear tho, a bit sandy in places from the snow earlier but definitely driveable.

 

Ok so I am going to make the trip from Sac to join up. I would be down to meet up with others on the way and get a little caravan going. Just need to know when and where. (I am not too familiar with places to meet along the way.)

We can meet up at the Infiniti dealership in Fairfield and go from there if you want. Not sure about time but we can work on that.

 

cyberecho79, this is the way I am going. We have to meet up between 10- 11 am at Serramonte and it is a good 1:15 mins from the dealership so if you want, we could meet up there at 9:15am to arrive at 10:30am or so.

Turn onto I-80 WEST toward SAN FRANCISCO - go 46.1 mi
1. I-80 WEST becomes US-101 SOUTH - go 2.1 mi
2. Take the I-280 exit toward DALY CITY - go 6.5 mi
3. Take fork onto CA-1 SOUTH toward PACIFICA - go 0.7 mi
4. Take the CLARINADA AVENUE exit - go 0.1 mi
5. Turn on CLARINADA AVE - go 0.2 mi
6. Turn on CALLAN BLVD - go 0.4 mi
7. Turn on SOUTHGATE AVE - go 0.1 mi
8. Turn on SERRAMONTE CTR - go < 0.1 mi
9. Arrive at 3 SERRAMONTE CTR, DALY CITY
