Anybody Catch Strikeforce at The Tank?

It was the first ever sanctioned MMA event in California and the biggest crowd (18,265) at an MMA event in US history. I was a part of history, anyone else here attend the event last night?

It was a huge sausage fest, but I did see a few females there. I took my GF and she enjoyed it. She was never into the MMA stuff until the series "The Ultimate Fighter" aired on SpikeTV. That show converted her into an MMA fan.

How many people does the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim hold? UFC 59 is sold out.

Maybe this will top the previous 18K+ event.

i was there .. 3rd to last fight i felt the guy who lost should've submitted his opponent with all his chances. Cung Le fight was exciting although I wish I could have seen them go to the ground. And the Shamrock-Gracie fight was just horrible imo.

I think the Gracies have done a lot for the sport, BUT they are going the way of the dinasaurs. You cannot compete in todays MMA matches without being able to strike. Royce has no striking ability whatsoever.

^Agree 100%. He is going to have to take Hughes to the mat and even then, I just don't think he will have enough to beat him.
