Too bad I am in Sacramento but not in San Jose but I would check out the rental car at airport such as Dollar or Budget Car Rental. They are a bit cheaper than other and their car isn't too bad too. Otherwise, she can drops you at work and having a lunch together would be nice too, right? :-)

Rent a Wreck is usually cheapest for long term rentals...

 

public transportation is pretty cheap..

 

If you really love her, you'd let her drive your G around and you'd buy a bicycle

Colombian ladies are sooooo sexy in so many ways....I've been all over the country of Colombia in the last 12 years and have met some awesome ladies, none more so than my cachaca(girl from Bogota) that's coming out in a few weeks....However, she still aint gonna drive the G.
