Fender Rolling

Well, I finally put the final touches on my wheel/tire package, today. I decided to go with a 255/285/35 tire combo. Chris at F1 is not entirely sure whether the 285's will rub or not with my particular set-up.

Just in case, in the event that I do need to roll my rear fenders . . . Can you folks recommend a good local shop that can do this fender rolling work? This way, I'll be ready to "Roll" when the time comes. Thanks!

as usual, i recommend my body shop: International Autobody in San Bruno - www.intlautobody.com

talk to Boris (vodkarocket) too - he's had his fenders rolled - but his paint cracked.

Why not roll them yourself? I just did mine this last weekend didn't trust any shop to do them. Seen to many bulged fenders. I used the Eastwood Fender Roller. No paint crack or fender bulge. Only rolled the lip halfway for what I needed. If you go this route two things you need beside Fender Roller. Heat Gun & Patience, all the DIY's I read said it should take around 30 minutes per fender. Took me 3hrs total by myself. I let the paint rest a little longer, took no chances. Seems to have worked out well.

Best
Roko

LOL . . . Roko, in the "old days" we used baseball bats. However, this is one modification, which I am going to leave to someone else. I would hate to crack my own paint.

Great, Igor . . . They cracked Boris' paint?! Ummmm . . . I'm afraid to ask, but . . . Boris, did they fix the paint on their dollar?

Fender roller, eh?

We do it over here in the East Bay, Concord, but that is way too far to drive. San Bruno location has done some nice work though.

Tell me about it, Chris. Now, I am looking at a set of Z Tein H-Techs followed up with some Tokico D specs.

Get the D-specs. I totally recommend them. Awesome shocks.

Good luck on the fender rolling. I saw Josh's car. The work looked very nice.
