any of you guys have experience with any body shops?

my car got keyed up pretty bad last weekend. it sucks considering i go through so much trouble to keep it dent-less. I usually park way out in the cutties, but i made one slip up by parking near the front and my car ended up getting keyed.

i've been to 4 body shops already and recieved 4 estimates ranging from $600 - $1400. unfortunately my deductible is sitting at $1000. i thought all the shops would be around the same price range and the fact that it's not is just driving me nuts.

if you guys have any experience with body work please enlighten me! i'd like to go to the shop with the best customer service and experience. i don't really care how much it costs, so long as it's a reputable place.

south bay preferred.

thanks!

oh yeah, and on top of all that. the perpetrator hocked two of the nastiest looking loogies on my windshield as well. i hope i find this ******* so i can show him why he shouldn't mess with a g like me

Wow, you have enemies?

Can't stand haters who mess with other people's rides. Gutless. They don't have the ***** to do or say anything straight up.

Go ask Frontier Infiniti where they take their cars to. I would take it there if I lived in that area.

I got referred to IMAGE up here in SSF but man. My car is STILL not done. I am getting my sides done a THIRD time. So I honestly can't recommend any shops.

Hope you get everything fixed soon man.

i had various items painted at City Body in san jose. It's about 5 minutes from valley fair. Their work is top notch. They work mostly on jags, land rovers and other high end cars. Talk to Emiliano and say the customer with the dark blue g35 sent ya.

Good but a bit far!

Hey,
Very sorry about your car got key. Seem like someone dont like the way it looks or everything else! Just becareful where to park next time!! About the auto body shop, there is a auto shop in Sacramento that did a fine job. They would able to waive your deductible too!!

Go to Sunny Auto Body in SF (450 Potrero Ave.) and ask for Denny. Tell him that Jason with the silver RSX sent you. They can cut you a good deal since it's not an insurance claim and it's not a lot of work for them. I can't give a quote, but I have a really good feeling that he won't charge you more than a few hundred. Let me know how it goes.

Do not use Olson Brother in Milpitas. They now seem to do low quality repairs-ie very noticible. The paint is fine but the bumper was put back on with screws and not the Nissan push clips and half of those were missing in the trunk liner pieces. You can also see the sanding marks in the clear. I just gave up having them fix it,too much time and no car equals too much headache. They are great for boat hulls but they just do not seem to produce the same quality of work anymore.
