Exclamation Official: Sunday Golden Gardens Meet!

Where: Ballard High School then Cruise to Golden Gardens Park together
When: Sunday, July 23rd
Time: 2:00PM

BBQ and hang out on a 90+ degree Seattle summer day. Talk cars with fellow G members and kick back. We'll be having the BBQ around 2:00 in the afternoon and will probably cruise downtown or on the eastside after for some pics and to turn heads. We can discuss this and if we wanna do anything else afterwards at the BBQ. I'm planning on bringing the dogs and buns. If everyone can bring somethin that would be great! Just a reminder: There is no booze or open containers allowed at the park, sorry. Friends are also invited.

Here's the list of atendees I have so far.
1. yamanb
2. stealthninja
3. jrhollywood
4. nokimchi
5. grome
6. pavelg
7. Mixturepinoy
8. Drewer
9. MasterAV (tentative)
10. Joker

Beyahhhhh.

is everyone here posers or does anyone actually "drive" their cars? Ever consider doing a track day?

You can organize a track day if you feel we need to have one. I'd be glad to attend.

Sorry, I'm just a poser. Wait, isn't a poser someone who claims to do something and then doesn't do it? I've never claimed to race my car, nor do I think my car IS a racecar. . .so I guess I'm not a poser.

BTW, I'd be down for some track time someday. Clint (THX723) always tried to pressure me into it when I lived down south. I just never wanted to wear one of those stupid helmets! HAHA Fontana's road course is pretty cool, as is Willow Springs. I know that if I do though, I'd probably turn into Ed (Eagle1). . .he got hooked instantly, and now look at his car. . .also Clint's doing.

I'll gladly drag my car anytime too. I'd rather do that. I have no skills except pushing the gas pedal down.

well, actually, a poser in my book would be someone who has a performance car, such as a G35, and just got it to look cool, not actually use it for what its intended for

Well now that isn't the way it was "made" now was it? any car can be "fast"... anyways the point is calling people "posers" for not "racing" their G's is stupid... simple as that
