well... heading back to seattle from I-5 North.. got a negliant driving ticket for 538 dollars... i was going 95+ said the cop... and i was switching lanes without signaling.... i was going around 100.. but there was no car around.. once i saw a car i slowed down.. the cop came outa no where.. any suggestions on lawyers?? thanks guys.. oh yah.. Were you radared? If not you may be able to get it reduced. If he caught you the radar then you are pretty much up $hits creek without a paddle. Oh get your flame suit out cause you already know what's comming . Good luck!

 

sorry to hear about the ticket. Hope you get everything sorted out and definitely learn from this one. Seems like there have been more cops out around the Seattle area lately. Any guesses?

 

I start to see more and more in unusual places. I used to know where the speed traps are in Seattle area I-5 but now days, not anymore. They are being very sneaky.

Did you guys see the front page of Seattle Times this morning? The officer with a radar gun on the damn tractor....

 

Not to think on the negative, but what are the consequences for his actions?

i got a similar one...
I-5 comin back from tacoma.

i was doing about 120 and then slowed down because of traffic

cop comes out of no where as i was slowing down and next thing i know there's blue lights in my mirror

i got lucky, he only got me for doing 85, but i didn't have my insurance card on me since i just got the car a week prior

$135 for speeding, $550 for no insurance papers! cop said he could have busted me for negligant driving also but the no insurance was big enough.
and that i can just take it to court and they'll remove the no-insurance fine if i show it to them and it's valid.

anyways i hope you get your stuff reduced at least, i don't think you'll be able to get out of it.

 

i talked to my lawyer... 350 is what it costs to get it off my record.. he is good i have faith in him. haha

 

Damn why you guys doing 100+ on I-5 between Tacoma-Everett? Don't you know the cops are everywhere there? Not worth it, you will get pulled over.

i have the v1.. but it didnt help cuz he didnt gun me.. he paced me... he said he was going 100 to catch me... radar detector doesnt work when you fly by a cop...
