Anyone know of a top notch place that installs DOUBLE DIN navigation???

I just purchased an Eclipse AVN5510 Navigation system. I have an 06 G35 with bose system and steering controls. I'm looking for a GREAT place who can install this system in my car with absolutely no problems and do a perfect job!
Does anyone know a GREAT place that does quality work in Western WA area. Seattle, Tacoma, Etc. ?

I'm talking about Unique Whips and West Coast Customs good!

I had my double din DVD stereo uninstalled and put the OEM back in at Great Vibration. Very efficient and paid like $50 (incl. tax). I like the fact that the installers have over 10~15yrs of stereo experience.

But uninstall and install is completely different, it's easier to uninstall than to install because in the install you need to do it clean, use zip ties, black tape, no wires hanging out, etc. Also Did your double din work with your steering wheel controls?

Magnolia Hi-Fi, the everett or bellevue stores. The only people I've ever trusted with my cars.

Did you get all the accessories needed yet? Double Din, AC controller, Steering wheel controller adapter etc? Most shops won't have this stuff if you want to have them do the install

Only thing I don't have is the BOSE adapter and steering wheel controls adapter but a shop said they had it in stock so i guess so.
I found a REALLY REALLY good shop, expensive but they do AWESOME work, they only work on bentleys and ferraris, just high end cars. It's called Advanced Auto Design in Auburn. www.advancedautodesign.com

I'm actually taking it to them, but their Puyallup store since it's closer to me. I guess it's ran by the same team/company "Great Vibrations". I will post pics later on of the install.

I went there, DID NOT LIKE THEM or their work. I do not recommend them, they don't know how to do delicate work.
Only 3 places/people that would do a good job.
aznj on this forum (works at Circuit City)
Marr (Car Toys Federal Way)

these two are owners of G35 and also certified installers.

Third place: Advanced Auto Design (Auburn,WA)

Save money. . .do it yourself. There are more than enough DIY's to get you through it. . .and it's just like a complicated lego set. You'll appreciate it that much more. . .I'm double dinning my car next week end. . . and throwing in 4 eDesign 7kv.2s in the rear deck. (I love fiberglassing!) Anyway, good luck whatever you decide to do!

Great. I'm sure zanj/marr who owns G will take care of you well. But not sure why you dis some installer for not being able to do "delicate" work when you are only asking installer to do DD install???

It's not difficult at all. Unless you are going to do full custom show car stereo work.

Dude it's about the installer not the shop or store.....aznj has done this type of stuff before and I'm confident he can do good work, not to mention i'm backed up by lifetime warranty through circuit city.

Yeah Marr charges way too much $700... aznj from the boards here only charging me $200.

the DD Install is easy but very time consuming and tedious(takes as long if not longer than installing an alarm with remote start), the hard part comes when they have to sauder the circuit board for the dual climate control (thats when the work then becomes extremely delicate)
