Seattle meet or something this weekend.

Ok Washington people. Weather permitting I believe you guys should do a meet or something. I think its always nice to meet other owners, I think, considering noone here talks. I'm heading up there from PDX with out of town friends and dunno what to do. Tour guides are welcome.

You guys should all frequent the NW section of my350z.com also. You must've missed this little thread: http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=264593

Still, I know the NW forum over here is a bit slow...

How far is Roslyn? I had initially just planned on hanging out in the city. Pikes Market most def. Need to avoid those crazy hills though.

That meet/drive already passed. Roslyn is about 2 hrs outside of Downtown Seattle.

No way to avoid the hills if you're going to Pike Place. Wait, I take that back...if you take 1st Ave. for all your North/South travel, you'll be good. But as soon as you try to head East, away from the water, it's non-stop hills up to I-5

Yeah, just park on the Waterfront (1st avenue) and walk up to Pike Place. Thats the only way you will avoid the hills.

Most people aren't used to driving those kinds of hills with a stick shift I would assume thats why? I have no problem getting around downtown with my 6MT...

LOL. Knowing how to drive a 6MT and being used to driving really steep hills are two different things.

same as driving forward and backwards
Two diff things but you got to be able to do both of those things.

If you got MT you got to be able to take off from the hill as well.
After all...........all you need a just a little more gas.

Hills I can deal with, I think. But Everytime I'm in Seattle, in someone elses car, those hills are mad extreme. I guess I'm gonna go ***** deep and try it this weekend. Just hope noone is behind me. And this is my first MT car, so I'm still a little newb.
