Exclamation Taking my car to Infiniti of Tacoma at Fife...

So my sunroof doesnt close.....It pretty much stays in the up position. I clicked the button and it makes a funny noise...Its not fuse related because it moves like a couple milimeters, what could it be? Any ideas?

Also, has anybody brought there car to them? I really hope they dont change my headlights, per the tsb.

My car should be covered under warranty correct? its a 2006 w/19k miles. And service should be free. Right?!

They won't change your headlights unless you authorize them to. Your car is definitely covered under warranty. Their service department has been great to me. I take my cars to them for everything. You shouldn't have any problems. Talk to Alex (she's treated me wel) in the service department.

I was also wondering on the headlight recall. I dont want them to mess with mine. It's fine as far as I am concerned. Seems straight on a wall too.

I bought my car there and they installed a factory spoiler on mine and they did a great job. They actually surprised me, I was getting prepared for scratched, botched job, etc. LOL

Charlie sucks, but he doesnt... He was supposed to get me a loaner to fix a couple recalls on the g.. when i brought it it, there was no rental, and the fix took a day longer than expected.... he didnt know what the hell he was talking about, but since he fukced up hella, he did changed my oil, lubed everything up, and top off all fluids for free.

I would not count on that, if you don't want the recall done, be sure to have them put it in writing, there have been alot of members who were surprised to find that they had the recall done when their cars were brought in for other things.

If they're on top of their sh*t, as it sounds like they are, they'll prob swap them anyways and tell you when you pick up the car...unless maybe they don't have any left in stock. Why does it matter if they do it or not? No big deal, right?

Well I rather not, as there have been stories of bad work done. Scratches, misaligned bumpers, foam pieces not installed right, etc. Don't need the aggrevation. Have enough stress these days....

Gotcha...that's true. Totally depends on the tech, and their mood that day.

+1 I noticed that too, when I got their loaner sedans too. Maybe it's the traction at launch, on the X?
