Hey Any G35'ers in Oregon besides me?
Re: Hey Any G35'ers in Oregon besides me?
I'd definitely be up for a meet. I'm in Portland but would be
willing to drive just about anywhere along I-5 for a meet. Between
OR and WA, there should be a decent handful of us.

You guys can count me in. I'd also be willing to drive a couple of hours for a meet. I'm in PDX also and have a DP 5AT Sedan with 19" Mille Miglias and a pretty kick *** stereo system.
I had the same experience with BI. Got my sedan last May up in Kirkland for $31,580 (MSRP). BI wanted $35,000 for the same car. I told them that I didn't want to pay more than MSRP. Sheridan (don't know if he's still there or not) closed his books and started talking to someone else. Tony Talton was straightforward and didn't BS me.

Hey, guys... Anyone have much experience dealing with Beaverton Infiniti's service department... especially those who, like myself, bought their coupes elsewhere? I'd ASSUME that they treat any Infiniti owner the way a luxury car dealership should. Hope I'm right.
Re: Hey Any G35'ers in Oregon besides me?
I've had my sedan in at Beaverton Infiniti for service twice now (regularly scheduled 3250 and 7500 mile check up). Both times the service was great. They were expecting me, had my loaner car ready to go (2003 G35 and 2003 I35 respectively), and were done with the car when they said they'd be. In my opinion, it's the best service I've had at a dealer.

They shouldn't care where you bought the car, since they get paid either way. Service departments are a major source of income for dealerships, and are separate from the sales division, so they will want to keep your business. For warranty service, I believe Infiniti pays $91/hour in labor, so they would be more than happy to give provide it.
I am glad to hear that BI provides good service. Too bad the same can't be said for sales.
BTW - when and where is the meet?

Very good to hear, townsley. I was HOPING you'd say that. I wonder if all the Lanphere sales departments are similar, with 2nd stickers and/or interesting surprises at closing time. That would be too bad; but maybe they do so much business that they can afford those few buyers who are willing to put up with the inconvenience of getting their cars in other cities.
Ring up another win for Tony at Kirkland. Just a straight-shootin' salesman, apparently with a dealership that will back this attitude as well -- no nonsense.
