Angry BS bill intoduced into WA senate

WA proposes to ADD new tax based on engine displacement on tab renewals... Up to an additional $600 per year

Here is a petition

Engine Size (liters) Rate Schedule
Up to 1.9 $0
2.0 - 2.9 $70
3.0 - 3.9 $225
4.0 - 4.9 $275
5.0 - 5.9 $325
6.0 - 7.9 $400
8.0 or over $600

Seriously... Corvette gets better fuel economy on the highway than most 3.5L cars & yet they'll have to pay $400 / year extra? BS... us 3.5 guys would have to pay $225 extra, how lame!

State is always looking for ways to get that HUGE license tax back into place. I guess they can't use car values anymore so they have to make up some other sheit to call it. Tim I! Where are you buddy!

I thought King country re-instated that 1% excise tax to pay for the ferries? (I'm in SW washington, so I don't know)

where does that extra .3% go when you buy a car? sales tax is 8.9%, but 9.2% on vehicles...
