Buying a G35 in Idaho
Buying a G35 in Idaho
I have finally decided to get a g35 but unfortunately I live in Boise where there is not a dealer within 5 hours of here. I was at the Beaverton dealer last year looking at them and decided that I WILL NOT ever buy anything from that place. The salesman didn’t even want to sell me a car, said they had none yet there were 3 there (supposedly all sold), and they wanted over MSRP. How does that place stay in business?
My plan is to fly somewhere close, buy the car, and drive it back. What dealers in the North West would everyone consider fair? Any suggestions for a good deal.. I’m not looking for a lights out better than everyone deal, just something fair.
Thanks

Beaverton stays in business because they're the only dealership in Oregon and they know it. The next closest is probably Fife in Wa but that's still ~160 miles away.
I've gotten 2 G's now and both have been from out of state because I can't stand them either.
Try Tony Talton at Infiniti of Kirkland. He won't give you a smoking deal but he'll be fair. I bought my sedan from him and there was no BS.
If you want to order a car and have it shipped up to you, call Grubbs Infiniti in Texas. This is where I got my coupe. Even though you may not qualify for VPP pricing, they will most likely be able to beat Kirkland by a fair margin even with shipping costs.

Bob Lanphere?
I've talked with Tony Talton at Kirkland many times but he's never mentioned that before. We also discussed opening a dealership in Vancouver to compete with Beaverton. Their policy of second stickers is also inconsistent. However, I could be wrong.

Re: Buying a G35 in Idaho
Kirkland and Fife are owned in part by the same person that owns Sound Ford. That is why Kirkland is called Sound Infiniti on legal documents. They don't publicize it a lot, but it is there if you look.
