Infinit Beaverton was fine but I didn't have to bicker on price since I purchased through the VPP program. I'm only three weeks into my G so I can't comment on service.

I had to pay just a shade under MSRP, which I understood because it's a new, popular car and all that. But Beaverton Infiniti was pretty cool about the whole thing. They bargained where they could, explained why and when they couldn't. I'm not saying I got the deal of the century, but at least I felt they were being up front with me and weren't trying to screw me. I've taken the car back once for an oil change and it was a sweet deal. They were expecting me, had another G35 for me to drive for the day, and took care of some things I didn't even know were wrong. Good service department - will have to see how they stand up over time. I've no experience with Kirkland Infiniti though.

Townsley has the sedan (at least, that's what it says in his profile). Also, the fact that he got his sedan for "a shade under MSRP" tips you off right there - NOBODY is getting under MSRP for a Coupe... :/

Paying MSRP for a 6MT coupe w/premium at Kirkland, $35,115. Tried and tried for a break but no and no. Kirkland is getting about 5 6MT allocations a month. Beaverton e-mailed me back and said they'd let me know when I could put a deposit down. I suspect Kirkland moves more volume than Beaverton. Best I could get out of Kirkland was the drilled pedals at cost w/labor after the cars comes in. I had to put a 2k refundable deposit down. Nature of the extreme popularity. ...dean

Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it. I am hoping to get in on the April orders with Kirkland, but I will find out for sure in the next few days.

I think you should be prepared to pay MSRP but bargain your *** off. It never hurts to ask them to give you a better deal. Even if they keep walking out to "talk to the manager" and come back with some stupid figure on paper, ask them to do better. Keep asking until they say they can't do any better on price. Then start asking for a better interest rate. Don't negotiate on monthly payments - first negotiate the price, then negotiate the monthly payments. Also - extended warranty options are just more commision for the dealer. Don't purchase any extended warrenty. Push them against a wall. That way, you won't hate yourself or feel you got reamed. You'll know you did all you could to get the price down. And, if in the end you pay MSRP, no great loss. You'll be driving out of there with a beautiful new G35. Let us know how it turns out.

This was my first luxury car as well. I suspect that the wheeling and dealing is much more intense at such dealerships. Afterall, we're not buying Bentley's, Astin-Martins, or Rolls-Royces here - these are expensive cars for working people who know the value of a dollar. Bargain away!
