Anyone care to opine on how or if the TPMS sensors will figure themselves out ? Both my old 17s and these newer 19s have them

Thanks
I was looking at those

Welcome to the oem 19 sedan club. What area you in?

You'll have to go to the dealer and get the TPMS calibrated each time you swap. I don't know if places like discount tire can do this or not.

Thanks man, how does your sedan feel on those 19s ?
I'm way up in Northshore, and you ?

spoke to the dealer about the TPMS earlier today. And they did confirm i would have to bring it in for them to calibrate the sensors. But they were not sure about the TPMS' backward compatibility if the coupe was manufactured after Aug 06. So well let's see

Feels good. Alot of the feel depends on the tires. I run Michelin Pilot a/s now and these are bit softer than the Michelin Pilot sports I had before.

I'm in bellevue/north renton.

I love the michelins but $$$! I got my pilot sports off CL for a good dea. I paid retail for the A/S. I swapped to the a/s because of the better UTOG.

I ran the oem RE050s and were impressed with the dry/wet. BUT they are heavy as hell (run flats) and the tread wear is dismill. You'd be lucky to get 20,000 miles off the RE050s. The RE760s seems to be a good tire though.

The old pilot sports were great. Light and performed well. UTOG is low but you can rotate them side to side to get the most treadwear out of them. Just do it before the sides get too worn or the tire place won't rotate them
