so i finally got off my *** and finished my speaker box project. putting a 12 in the G trunk wasn't an easy task with the low clearance. it was even harder to get the airspace volume i needed while maintaining a somewhat usable trunk and getting it tuned to a good sounding frequency. i ended up with a total volume of 1.63 cu. ft. and a tuning frequency of ~38 or 39 Hz. making the facade was a challenge too, but i think it turned out ok. here's pics:
