Ugh I was just making a list of the bills I need to pay that are not my typical monthly bills and now im pissed because I remembered that back in September I got a ticket for no front license plate while I was parked down in Seattle and was at a restaurant having dinner. I didnt know they could ticket you for that if the car was parked. MAYBE I TOOK THE FRONT LICENSE PLATE WITH ME! lol. It's little bills like this that drive me crazy because its $50 bucks that hurt people. If I was a cop I would never ticket for that while the car was parked and unattended.

nah because it's 67 bucks and to take time off work, plus driving down there, plus parking it would cost me practically the same amount.

were you ticketed under this RCW46.16A.200? section (7)(d) states it is illegal to "Operate a vehicle unless a valid license plate or plates are attached as required under this section;" it also says if you are issued two plates you must display both plates, one on the front and one on the rear. I think thats messed up because its not even a moving violation, you were parked!

I dont know what I was ticketed under. I think it just said Parking Ticket and then in the notes "no front license plate"

I dont even know where the ticket is now. I understand that I am breaking the law by driving without one and wouldnt complain if i got the ticket while driving but the car was parked and I was inside a restaurant. :-( Just frustrating because little bills like this add up and the person who gave the ticket probably assumed i would have enough income to pay a ticket like that. which i have hte money but i am trying to start saving money. lol.

should be able to get that waived if you go to court with proof that you have a plate now... like a picture or something

^ 67 bucks would be as much as it would cost me to take time off work, drive and pay for parking. so imma pay it! oh well though.

Anyways...lets chit chat it up in here!

What was the highlight of 2010 for you?
