My car got keyed so I'm not worried about damage to the paint, but yes the vinyl is 100% removable. Its rated up to like 5 years or something, is scratch/chip resistant, and the best part IMO is the ability to selectively touch up areas if you mess it up. No need to match paint, just prep it and slap on a new piece of vinyl. It actually washes off better than paint, the dirt doesn't stick to it as much, but I would never take it through a mechanical car wash. The 3M has micro tracs in the material that channels away air so its a lot easier to not get air pockets than the cheap vinyl, but its still a LOT of work.,

Both myself and Jeff (Imperial tint) are originally from Battleground so we're in the area often, he's done roof-wraps and tints for several guys in the Portland area, and I've been helping out with the go fast mods

Ah, very slick!

Well next time you guys are in the Vancouver area shoot me a PM, I'd luv to see both the rides and talk 'shop'. My area of expertise is home theater so if I can be of some service there don't hesitate to ask.

Later,
Jason

Don't I know it, this is the only bone stock vehicle I have ever owned and it's such a downer driving around like this (pain for the plain).

Thanks for that Joe (appreciate it) but my first 'mods' will be cosmetic and not performance driven.

My wife drives the car as well so as much as I would enjoy more performance or even a TT/SC set-up it's just not practical for us (for now ). My autistic son is with me in the car much of the time anyway, although he luvs the speed when dad steps on the gas (guess it's genetic).

I am thinking the first mods will be a very mild lowering (about 1", maybe some stock 350Z springs if I can locate a set) and some nice shiny polished/machined neg. offset wheels. I don't care for the black wheel craze and don't think it looks good on AB anyway. I just tried to grab a set of OE polished 18"s but missed it. I am also looking at doing a flexi front lip but I don't have the sport bumper so still keeping an eye out for something that I like.

However... if you come across any reasonable cosmetic mods then please do let me know (thanks).

Maybe the diffuser but I don't care for the black roof look, it looks ok on some of the IP coupes that I have seen but other than that I think it actually detracts from most of the colored G's. I know black mods are all the rage right now but that will die out soon enough, all of this cosmetic stuff is just like fashion, the trends just keep changing and they all come around again after a while. I owned a full custom and totally blacked out toyota mini back in the 90's and I still think black is awesome but it sure is a pain in the **** to keep clean.
