So i found these via CL and called the guy about it
He offered to drive over with 'em since he "really needs the cash"

Shows up and lets me see two of them, one's got a Toyo Proxy and the other's got a Goodyear. Never got a chance to see the other two in the backseat. Anyway i asked him to follow me for a couple of blocks to the nearest Tire superstore where they would verify everything was in order and install them for me.

This is when he says no way and scampered off like a rabbit.

it'd be nice to find something lighter than OEM so as to reduce the unsprung weight but I'm new to the scene and know absolutely nothing about my options so far

or maybe he didn't trust me or disliked the fact that i was driving a white G sedan and wearing white sneakers ... i guess we will never know

 

p.s.
i'm cool with people coming over but this is CL so obviously we did meet @ a public place. Seattle isn't unsafe for the most part but i was talking to this other local about his coupe and his stock rims got jacked on a Sunday morning while he was attending church !
