JWT TT Kit Installer
Anyone know of an authorized JWT Installer in the PNW area? When I go FI, Im probably going to go with one of their TT kits and don't want to have to take a road trip to get it installed. Their site doesn't show dealers and I was gonna call them but wanted to know if anyone in this area is running their setup first. Thanks for the help.

So Intec sells and installs them? That would make life a little easier for me! It will probably be a little while until I'm ready to go FI and will more than likely start to build the motor and suspension for it first. Want to keep it clean and reliable cus the G is my DD. Should be ready for it once I get back from my next deployment just not sure when thats gonna be yet.

Nice thats good to know! I've never been there either, I should go check em out one of these days. There's another shop here in the Tacoma area called UP Garage that works on a lot of nissans especially the 240sx guys. Not sure if they can do the JWT kit though. They have been around for a while, my pops used to go there when he had his 240z

UP garage has been focusing a lot on RB swaps into the 240's, over the last 6-8 months a lot of their and Drift Office's customers have been migrating to Intec to get work done. They We actually picked up a few of their racers too, and are working on a VQ35DE swap into the 240, as well as a kit for using the VQ35DE trans with the SR20 for the local drift scene.
The only issue I can think of with getting it installed at UPgarage would be that they can't tune it for you, you'd either have to go with a full standalone EMS or use the Jim wolf split second box... which is pretty worthless, regardless what JimWolf tells you. Also not sure how many 350z/G35's they've done... pretty much everyone in the area gets hooked up at Intec.
I'll see we can get that kit for you, if not and you're absolutely dead set on the JWT kit you might have to go on the roadtrip :/ There are several solid options for turbo kits, but you have to realize the no matter which kit you go with there are weak spots that will need to be addressed/upgraded. I'm pretty familiar with the JWT kit personally because it was my first kit as well
Another option that can potentially save you some big money is to buy a used kit and get new turbos for it, its just a bunch of aluminum pipes and stuff

Thanks for the help Seymore I have actually been looking at buying a used kit but they usually get picked up pretty quick through the marketplace. I'll probably have to check out my350z also to see whats going on over there.
How was the JWT kit when you had it? What was the downsides and how does it compare to what you have now? I'm trying to build my knowledge base before I make the jump into FI. It's different going FI on an NA motor than it is starting off with one that already is like an Evo or Sti. Just want to make sure everything is done right.

Yeah JWT is pretty exclusive so the used ones don't stay for sale for too long. worst case scenario the turbos are shot and you have to buy new ones, you'll still save some money over buying a completely new kit.
I loved the JWT 530BB kit, its perfect for stock block if you don't plan on upgrading. The GTM kit I have now is similar to the 700BB kit based on turbo size, but honestly the only real differences between the kits is the intercooler. The Jim Wolf kit is good for a sleeper with the stock front mount, all other kits require you to get an aftermarket bumper to get airflow over the intercooler.
GTM, Greddy, JWT, they're all good kits, the main thing is to get all the supporting mods at the same time, IE upgraded fuel system, a proper tune, etc. the only reason I purchased a JWT kit in the beginning was that I liked the stock front bumper look
