Hows living in Seattle like?

Hey guys I was considering moving out to Seattle. Everyone keeps saying it rains all day everyday! haha. So I was wondering if people who live there or been there can tell hows it like? Does it really rain that much? Is there alotta stuff to do in the city?

area is very small.. not much to do.. rains alot.. ppl are moody.. not a pleasant place to live

this season weather is moody. I LOVE it here. Sure weather isnt the best but it this WHOLE area. pacific North west. Clubs, shopping, landmarks to visit. allot to do. and best of all the BEST GDriver group around

the only time it really rains ALL the time is winter. november it rains often, and pretty much rains straight december through february/march. but it's light rain, it doesn't get too hard.

GThirtyFive4Me must not live in SEATTLE, it's huge and there's lots to do. there's a lot of people who live in the seattle AREA that claim to live in "seattle" but i actually live there. i never realized how BIG seattle was until i started driving around washington to other city's. there's lots to do in seattle itself, and a lot of the other cities around it.

Its not not that bad. Sure its not 364 days of sunshine like socal, but it does NOT rain 6 months straight... might be cloudy.. but not rain lol

and the summer is amazing.

gotta love the people that come say stuff and put it down lol


lived here for 7 years now and its great, sunshine through summer, rain/snow in winter... just the perfect balance, there is plenty to do and see, nature, scenery etc its beautiful and always something to do.


i think statistically last year Florida had more ran than WA its just Seattle got the rainy name since we get it in groups lol, we get a couple weeks of rain in 1 go kind of thing

not to mention haters think were named after rain since its "WASHington" lol must think we get washed out or something lol. I love it here!!!!

the area is very rich actually, allot of things to do and you got all season within a driving range. You just got to make an effort to enjoy it all.

that and most of the rain is fairly light. i know whenever i visit other places during rain it seems like its POURING rain. seattle it's just light rain for a week at a time.
