So...
No, a 240SX, lol. Also, how often do you change the rear diff oil, and what kind of oil do you use? The secret to a good working VLSD is you change the oil every 6k miles, otherwise the oil will break down and cause the diff to not work correctly. That's what I did on mine in the 240SX, and it drifted fine and launched at the drag strip just fine (11.95 @ 114mph with a 1.6 60ft). Not saying a 240SX and a G35 are the same, because they are not by any means, lol. I've only had my G35 for just over a month, so I still have yet to see how it behaves at the limit. Below is a little pic of me drifting with a VLSD and lowering springs back in 2009:

I'm running motul 90PA in my dif, changed it @20K and every 10K after
You'll find that a 240 and G35 are veeeery differently handling machines, the suspension is too soft and they're too heavy in stock trim to get too sideways, but if you can prove me wrong by all means do it

Motul 90PA is pretty decent stuff (Used it before), I currently use Torco RGO 80w90. Once I replace the clutch, I might give an open drift day a shot just for the hell of it, lol. I'm sure the stock G will handle like crap, but it'll still be fun
. It's been 2.5 years since I went to a drift event though, so I'm going to suck...
also If you can get some pictures of your baby doing the sideways shuffle be sure to post em up
