Seattle area - Can anyone recommend a reputable shop to fix this rear main seal?

Hi guys, I could really use some insight as to a reputable shop to replace the rear main seal on my 2003 G35. I've had the car for a few years and fortunately, this is the first job that I can't tackle on my own in the driveway!

Taking advantage of the cooler weather today, I crawled under there and confirmed that, in addition to the oil cooler o-ring seal leaking, the rear main seal on the driver's side is also shot. I don't mind paying for quality work, but I've grown distrustful (not without cause, but I'm not assigning blame) of many shops in the area; too much price gouging and gambling on the customer being uninformed and mechanically disinclined.

If anyone can recommend a shop I can trust, or if anyone has the resources to tackle this job with me, I'd be very grateful or happy to reimburse you healthily, respectively.

Thanks so much, and please feel free to PM me or reply here. I love this forum; it's saved me so much time and money already!

Can definitely relate to your experience. Did you ever find a shop? Cuz I definitely have a suspension related job for a reputable shop in the north seattle area.

Intec Racing in Kent has a ton of Z/G experience.. suspension, motor builds, FI, tuning, etc. IIRC they even R&D and manufacture some parts in house

I have a friend who works at:

Eric's Garage
2609 NE 55th St
Seattle, WA 98105

He's a master tech and very familiar with the G35 platform. I'd trust him with anything.

With that said, I completely agree with the OP - Seattle shops engage in way too much "price gouging and gambling on the customer being uninformed and mechanically disinclined." Hell, I went to Infiniti of Kirkland two weeks ago for a 4-wheel alignment and they pulled the same ****. It was extremely frustrating.

RMS is in the middle of the engine, and utilizes a radial spring seal on the crankshaft. You sure that is your issue OP? It is inside of the bell housing, you can't see it from under the car. You would see oil leaking from the bell housing between it and the block.
