Hey guys I finally got it. Monday night. Lovin it. I love the sound of the engine. Getting aero put on next tuesday and I might have a hookup for the tint and clear bra probably in the next week or two. Corner lights tonight. Then on to the engine in the coming months. It's good to be official now!

I got Diamond Graphite. Yeah I'm looking at getting clear bra. Just trying to find a good price. I might have a hookup. My old boss is neighbors with a guy that owns a place down in Tukwila Near Home Depot that I might get my tint and clear bra done by. I was thinking of going metallic with the tint. What do you guys think?? I'll get some pics up in the next couple days after I get my Aero package installed tomorrow.

I just got my tint and clear bra done yesterday from Auto Trim Design in Tukwila. I could find out if he'd be interested in offering a special deal to G35driver.com visitors. My Stillen/Z-tube combo is on it's way as well as my ISO Thermal MREV. Can't wait to get those installed.

 

u mind if I ask how much they charged for the tint job? I'm looking at places around the Seattle/Bellevue area to do my tint. I've got quotes from Mr. Tint and Jay's Tinting in Kirkland for about $250-300 for 20% all around tint.

 

Yeah, if you don't mind, how much did was your tint and how much was the clear bra?

 

I got Presidential Tint for around 250 I think. I think it looks better than the smoke even though it is more expensive. I went legal all the way around. I didn't want to have to worry about warranty issues should the occasion arise. And the clear bra was 489 installed. I don't know if that was a great deal or not but it was def. better than a couple other places I looked at. Considering I have seen the clear bra packages themselves for over 400 I'm satisfied with what I got it all for.

 

phlex: which aero kit for the '06 sedan are you talking about?? do you man the spoiler or something else beyond that?

 

Just the dealer Aero option. I wouldn't mind a front lip spoiler though. Anyone seen an affordable option?

 

What all did he put the clear on? Mirrors, bumper, up the hood at all?
Was it 300M stuff??
Sorry about all the questions, but my front bumper is trashed and Im going to hopefully get the bumper with the lip built in and get it cleared before I put it on.

I got the clear on almost everything. All 4 door edges, mirrors, hood, bumper, headlights.

 

Hey how was the clear bra and tint quality from that place in Tukwilla? Also did they have to remove the door panels to do the tint on the doors?
