New G owner Kirkland/Eastside

Just traded in my Vishnu tuned 2003 Evo VIII for a G sedan yesterday. Had a baby girl last year so I needed a quieter, smoother ride. The 12-14 mpg of the modded Evo was also starting to get irritating

Congrats but a stock G35 at 14-17mpg gets irritating too.

On the Evo ? It was tuned by Vishnu tuning in CA. Full 3in turbo back exhaust, no cat. 23 lbs peak boost, HKS cams, Vishnu XEDE engine management.
317 awhp, 298 ft/lb torque (Mustang AWD dyno)
Best 1/4 mile: 12.4 sec @ 110 mph on 93 octane
I had a methanol/water injection system installed but never got to use it on the track.

Stock G is 14-17 mpg ? Thought I was going to get better mileage than that...

I live in Redmond, and drive a black 2005 G35 Coupe with PA plate (PA don't have front plates).

You should. According to my calculations and to to my Navi, my 2003 sedan auto gets right around 20-21mph.

I've been getting just over 20 in my 6MT. Hoping once I get my plenum and MREV installed it might go up just a little bit.

I average 21.8MPG on my G35... if I just cruise on the freeway I set it at EXACTLY 60MPH on CRUISE control and I get 26.5-27MPG... so most of my tanks get me 400MPH usually

As bad as 20-21 mpg sounds, thats a 20-30% improvement over the modded Evo. Some of you guys living the eastside may have seen my car. red evo, removed the wing, red tail lights and jdm evo badg across the trunk. it was one the first evos here in washington. I've had it since march 03 and was the car used in Microsoft's PGR2 for both artwork and sound.

Just had my first mod done. Stillen swaybars front and rear.

Wow ! What a big difference. Feels so much flatter on the curves now. Makes it fun to hit the twisties again.

Must have been last year since I don't have a baby seat in the Evo and we take my wife's car on weekends and grocery shopping. I do remember seeing a sweet looking DG there some time ago.
