WTB: HPI Nitro RC car
It is a blast but I just don't have time for it anymore.
I have a Mugen Seiki Prime 12 with upgraded bearings, tuned exhaust and 2-speed transmission. The thing cooks, but I've never gotten around to having it clocked.
I honestly don't know what 's worth though.
I also have a Kyosho that was clocked at just over 70mph but that's been sitting WAY to long to be worth anything anymore. It's barely even worth parts.

Yeah, it's gotta be 7-8 yrs old now, but it still runs super strong.
I'm not sure about parts, being that I haven't done much with it (or needed to) for quite some time.
The secret is to pick a great local shop and then choose your brand rather than choosing a brand and then having a hard time finding parts.
My guys have always been able to secure parts for me, not matter the brand or age, but I may just be luckier than most in terms of nice local shops.
I mentioned to my wife this morning that maybe I should sell some stuff I dont play with anymore... and I mentioned my car.
She gave me a look like I was crazy. She knows how much I used to love goofing around with it before the kids came along.
I should sell my paintball crap too. Just another hobby that doesn't fit into today's schedule.
I wonder if I can find a nice 1/10th scale G35 Sedan body

I actually went out and decided to buy a new HPI RS4!
I was looking at some nice used cars, but there were all in the $200 range - for $100 more I could break it in myself and know it's been taken care of.
Just got done running the last break in tank. Thing is fast! Tomorrow I'll open her up all the way
Thanks for the reply though!

Lol, oh I know! Thats why I got out the first time... 60mph into a brick wall, lol. I got it apart, never started getting ot back together
I've found that a lot of parts between my old car and this car are interchangeable: shocks, carbon brake, and things like the axels and other suspension parts that always break when you hit a curb!
