I don't go to SD much, I have a brother going to school in La Verne so I go thr sometimes but not much.

here in SD 3gs 8gs ive seen from 150-200. pretty much in mint condition. im not trying to say its a bad deal but there is more deals out there, especially in so-cal.

They are quoting $77 for iPhone 3G, so that can be my backup plan if I keep getting low balled haha
http://www.phonesmack.com is giving $93 with no accessories and 109 with ac adapter and sync cable.

It is not unlocked and 4.0 but i think once i restore it it will force me to put 4.2.1 on it

if i read correctly, if the firmware updates it to the newest, i wont be able to unlock it correct or?

You must update manually by Downloading the 4.0 ipsw file (just google it) and Shift+click on restore in iTunes (for pc) or alt+click on restore (for mac) and selet the 4.0 ipsw to restore from.
