Rolex Submariner 5513

Well guys as the title says, I have a Rolex Submariner that I need to sell. I only have the watch (No Paperwork), I got it as a gift from my mom not long ago. Unfortunately things have been getting pretty heavy for me and need to sell it. I am asking for $3,500 USD, but please give me an offer. Here is a link that I posted on "The Rolex Forums" where you can see the watch and see what forum members think of it (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=214678)
Reference Number: 5513
Serial Number: L557845

Edit:

I am reading your posts on the Rolex forum and I read that it is an older model (about 20 years) which explains why it doesnt match up to some of the indicators that I was looking for. Based on your post above, it sounded like you were presenting it as new (you said you just recently got it). I will retract my judgement.

Pls. Open the case back and show the movement. Plus a handwritten note of your forum name.

There is so many so called frankens out there that is so close to genuine.

pls. Take a pic also of the serial number on the side of the watch where you connect the bracelet.

I am not a rolex expert but with this kind of sale and money safest way for the buyer is to both of you take it to a reputable watchsmith and have it verified.

I will gladly open the case and make a handwritten note with my username, i have taken the watch to a watchsmith who assured me its real, as well as checked on the rolex forums with watch enthusiasts who also believe it to be real. I have trid to photograph the engravings on the 12 and 6 o clock position but neither my digital camera or droid can pick up the correct lighting to show he "engravings" not acid marks. I will ty my hardest so people can be sure its authentic.

G35sweetness: i wasnt told of water damage when i had he watchsmith verify its authenticity, but I can open the case back for you. My mom got it as a gift from my step-dad, and it fit my wrist so i never had any links removed or added. I provided reference number and serial number in the initial post 5513 & L557845
