these satellite speakers were part of a Yamaha home theater in a box, YHT-23 that also included an HTR-5240 surround sound receiver and YST-SW45 subwoofer. both the receiver and subwoofer have been sold as I have upgraded that equipment in my home theater. have now decided to upgrade the surround/center speakers you see here. these were wired into the corners of my homes living room and worked very well, providing great sound in a 7.1 surround application. the only reason for changing is that I would like the surround/center speakers to match my Polk main speakers and subwoofer. never had any issues with these in the 5+ years of ownership or with any of the equipment from the Yamaha system. in fact I just upgraded to a larger Yamaha receiver. they are in excellent condition and were never abused or driven hard...mostly TV sports viewing. these are packed tightly in bubble wrap and boxed and ready to ship. please let me know if you should have any questions...romoserd@yahoo.com. the part number for the speaker system is NS-AP327. as per the pictures, they are five way binding post that accept banana plugs which is a nice feature when connecting in a tight space. smaller speakers rarely come with these kind of binding posts...usually cheap spring clips. the Yamaha emblem rotates so you can mount the speakers however you wish. I put rubber feet on the bottom of the center speaker to keep it from scratching the wood cabinet it sat on top of and it also helps to eliminate any vibrations the speaker may emit. let me know if you should have any questions...romoserd@yahoo.com. thanks for looking.
