Ha ha - damn right - still rep'n my Ohio Plates - with expired tags as of Wednesday!

I highly recomend TX - especially in the winter - it's been great down here and you wouldn't believe the car meets I've been too - lots of very nice imports around here, i think i am in heaven!

In Texas the G35 is about the equivalent of the 2001 Taurus in Ohio... they are everywhere!!!

 

Thanks for putting me back on the list since I was lost lol.

I also recommend TX. I lived in Plano for a few months while my husband was working down there and I loved it. He could transfer down there for work and if it wasn't for most of my family being in Michigan I think I would move there for good.

I went to the premier of the new Fast and furious movie at midnight last night. It was sold out for two shows. There were some ricers there...thats another funny story.

As for the movie, it was actually a quality movie. It was written well, had some good plot twist, great car races, excellent women that were portrayed in the highest regard, and yes, it does have some outlandish scenes for those that like that as well.

There is a G35 in one of the main race scenes. Its a red one. Its subtle but a good looking ride! It wasn't all riced out with crazy spoilers and ugly graphics but rather almost stock, a gialla grill, wheels, lowered, and a decent paint job.

The overall quality of the film impressed me. It should have been part three and the toyko drift should have been a strait to dvd 4th part.

 

Its funny you say that. My buddy and I were in NY and he made the comment about our G's that they were the Honda accord of NY! That was because they were everywhere. If they were nice, they were mint. If they were ok, they were beat up, scratched, dented or simply neglected.

We couldn't forget our one and only Female in our midst. (but they can all toy with my name on the list...I just take it that I have to be liked to be messed with! )

My dad is originally from Waco and moved backed there just recently. I have been down there often and every trip I realized that it is a fantastic place to live. I am tied down to Ohio with my daughter here, and being on a contract in both of my jobs or I would consider a move. Actually, when I first was looking for a teaching Job, I applied all over Tx and FL.

 

How about this .. Ohio thread and we talk about Texas. I lived in Lewisville and Spring for almost 19 years. Gotta love that warm weather. Road a GXR750 from Cleveland to Houston - boy did that suck - never again. Felt like i was sitting on a fry pan for 23 hours.

 

while we're on texas, I think one day I might take a job in Austin. I have never been there but heard enough good stories about it that I have to say I'm intrigued.

 

sorry to take you all off topic - i can't wait to see some pics from the meet - I want to see some more of Dal's ride and Brian's turbo beast among all the others as well!

On a side note - the Ohio plates will be replaced with TX today
