Below is an email I just sent to all the club members' emails. I thought on here it might get viewed by some of the members who dont check their emails regularly...



Good Evening CLub Members and friends,

I am writing to you first to say thank each and everyone of you for being a member of this club. This club has been a vision of mine for over 3 years and to see it finally form and grow is amazing to me. The friends I have made through the love of a car has made my life a better one just by knowing them. This friendship making "thing" that centers around a car extends beyond our state line. While the Five of us were at Hot Import Nights in Chicago, the Chicago Z club extended their friendships to us and made us feel just like part of them. If you didnt know, Brian from Toledo is a part of that club as well. So the connection runs beyond our chance meeting at Soldier Field.

What I am email to ask of this club is making time for us all on September 11th. I know that this date means so much to each of us in our own ways, but I ask each and everyone of you take a moment and consider joining us at Hot Import Nights in Columbus. I know some of us already signed up for it, but I would love to see the entire club show up for as a whole. I would like to make a showing of our club to the state of Ohio and beyond. I would like to extend our love of our cars and return that friendship and kindness the Chicago Z Club showed us in Chicago. I would like to see all us showing our cars, regardless if its just stock or completely modified. I would like to see all of us roll in together as one. I would like to see all of us parked as a club and showing the Buckeye state what they didnt know existed...The Ohio G Club.

So how about it? What are you thinking? Would you be willing to make it a point to join us? We have members coming from Louisville and Pennsylvania!

Did you know that in Chicago, two of the four cars showing from the Ohio G Club took home a Best of trophy(best driven Infiniti and best unlimited Infiniti)? Our club is something to be proud of. Our club is guaranteed a great showing and in my opinion, some more trophys.

We have had a growth of Newbies to the club in recent days and we are planning a local meet in Columbus on August 8th or 9th (to be decided...check the local thread for voting) and I know there a ton of members that have never been to a meet yet. I am traveling always between Columbus and Cincinnati and I know that those guys down south are starting to show real local interest. The Columbus Group has always shown strong and the results are some great friendships developed. Cleveland has also started to show a local following for meets on a weekly basis.

The Ohio G Club has a local thread as well dedicated to the club on G35driver.com. If you havent been on there lately or ever, please take a few moments to check it out. I would also like to say that I became a premier member to show some support to the place that brought this club together and urge you to as well.

With hopes of making a strong showing at HIN Columbus and developing some friendships that go beyond the love of a car...

I will be there....And I appreciate ur drive and dedication to help us grow as a club Jeremy. I know there are already like 6 cars signed up, but I would love to see at least a double digit turnout from our club. It is a great show to attend/participate in and there is plenty to do and see. Im not sure if Im gonna be able to go. I tried to ge the day off and since its a holiday week its full. I put in for the wish list but not sure when Ill find out about that. I can show up after work. Ill have to see if I can get my car dropped off at the show so I can enter it. Hopefully I can get a transfer back to my old department so I can have weekends and almost anyday i want off.

 

I know after reading that we elected the right guy for our Club President! Thanks J Bird

Its all about the friendships now...That is what keeps me wanting to meet again. The love of the G is one thing, but the friendships are what will make the club last.

thanks for the email jeremy..ive already arranged plans to be off that fri so im down for HIN..we need to register asap so we can all get spots..if you want terra and i can arrange HIN spots like we did for HIN chicago..let me know with a pm on driver since i get on here more than email

 

Sounds like a good plan. And I do believe that you two should be the POC for this event as well so we dont have 30 different people contacting and spreading information all over the place...

And I think you two might qualify for GEOs as well now!

Sounds good! I know that you have had some crazy hours and schedule...My wishes to the best honeymoon you two could possibly have! My first was pretty lame and I hope my next one and last one is amazing!

 

Can you give me some info on the event. What time would we have to be there? What needs to be done to register? I would really like to go but we already have a couple of guys off that day. If we are meeting late enough, I may be able to get the guys started and off to their jobs and then head out.
