thinking of ways we can share the High quality ie LARGE file sized vids and pictures that everyone has and there's a couple of ways....

i can set up an ftp...

we can make torrents and pass those around

or my personal choice, which is think is the easiest is use dropbox

https://www.getdropbox.com/referrals/NTIyMTk5NTk5

quick run down of the program. it makes a special "dropbox" folder that will automatically sync online. the beauty of it is you can add computers or make shared folders, and any file you drop in the dropbox folder will automatically "sync" up.

example if have a shared folder with my brother. i drop an episode of top gear in it. it'll automatically start uploading that episode to his computer in his dropbox folder because we're sharing the folder.

the only downside is you need to coordinate what goes in the folder because each user is limited to 2 gb max (for the free account) so if i put something that's 1 gig in the folder i'm essentially using up 1 gig of everyone elses space too.

regardless, it'd be nice if we had a way to pass around the high quality version of these files so let me know if you want me to set something up.

yeah it's pretty awesome...if you have multiple computers in multiple locations it's a great way to have access to your files (you can even access them via the website)

what e-mail addy did you use to sign up? i'll share the Ohio G Club folder i made in dropbox with you.
