Considering a de-mod

I'm currently torn on what to do. I want to sell the car to pick up this hell of a deal on a collector I found that I've wanted forever but am afraid I won't be able to sell in time to pick it up. I have a phobia of driving a stock car for some reason . Combine all this with the fact that I'm lazy and dont wanna deal with shipping some of the bigger things I figured I would throw the interest to the OGC first.

The 2 major things to move would be the exhaust: Berk test pipes and borla cat back (would need to trade for stock cats and exhaust though) and the 19" Iforged wheels (I'd need stock wheels though as I sold mine with winter rubber on it)

"collector" is indeed a good way to put it. It is a low mileage 99 Firehawk with EXACTLY the perfect color and option combo I want. That combo happens to be one of only 27 made

Reason being for this is that I hardly ever drive the G anymore and to me its pointless having a car payment on something that sits in my garage. If I can sell it for what I'm looking for I can pay off the G and buy the Firehawk with most of the difference

i would do it.. G's a pretty common and are easy to find while this collector is something rare you've always had your eye on.

I say go for it! even if you dont get to demod it, then sell it and get the car you want. I loved my el camino, but got rid of it for my silverado even trade(I was positive about $10K on the trade) I dont look back on the trade at all any more. Especially since my G is in the shop and I am forced to drive the truck when need to go anywhere that my motorcycle cant get me!

Good luck with everything...FireHawks are sweet rides!

1 of 27 would is pretty rare color combo! Go for it! You can get a g again anytime if you miss it! What are you lookin for, for your wheels (cash wise).. I have stock 18s with new rubber on them that i could give up..
Selling the g completly stock will draw more interest, and most like get more in your pocket. Good luck selling before winter hits cleveland!!
