Clutch

My clutch on my G is starting to slip a little bit and I have started looking into a new clutch/Flywheel combo.

I really want to go with either an ACT Streetlite/Prolite flywheel as they are chromoloy over aluminum. Not sure which one to go with.

Also, as far as clutches the cheepest option is to go OEM Exedy, but is there any better options as far as price/functionality.

I know some of you guys running FI have had to have replaeced your clutches. Just wandering your thoughts and if anyone else has any input.

My goal for this car is to hit 300bhp at the wheel going NA but then someday down the line go closer toward 400hp or so.

ive always went with ACT and havent tried anything else. If you find something for cheaper. Slowmotion can most likely match the price.

I know this is somewhat old, but I've always used Fidanza for my aftermarket drivetrain needs; not that I've had that opportunity with the Z yet. I haven't tried others but Fidanza's treated me well. The fact that Fidanza's located in NE Ohio is a bonus to me as well.

Their prices are right around JWT; maybe a little more. Their clutches are special order for Z's though and he said it would take about two weeks to get one through shipping. I would just pick mine up, heh.

Dal,

Will the triple disc allow for a smother engament over a single disc or is just for increased HP/TQ limits? Just curious

Are you running the Fidanza 3.2 Clutch by any chance? Do you like it?
