success!

It's a small win, but I found the JDM RHD battery cover on ebay for $43 + 12 shipping and made an offer for $30 + 12 ship and they took it!

That made my afternoon

If anyone else wants in on the deal, maybe they'll do another couple at $30

Also finally put in the request to get my service plan on my old civic refunded so that money will be back soon, I'm seeing an exhaust system in my future

There is a vendor here that sells them for $40 shipped. No doubt the guys from Riverside are awesome, I have purchased several parts from them. Just a heads up. Congrats on the purchase! I might be installing mine today!

lol i'm always looking for additions to put on the car, not trying to clone

the RHD battery cover seems to be a pretty common 'mod'.

I hope being a parts stalker is not a bad thing when you're new to the scene...

If you are going MREV2 look on here for a used one cuz i got mine for 300-350 i believe... There are no mechanical parts. It is just a chunk of aluminum so it it s a pretty safe buy. Same thing for the spacer.

PS I have a RHD battery cover as well. Makes a HUGE difference in the engine bay. did you get yours pre-cut? I know some places will sell that for like 5 dollars more.

ok i'll look on the forums, i don't believe my RHD battery cover is precut, no.

Tony from riverside infiniti has the spacer and mrev2 :

"well normally the copper kit is $265 shipped and the mrev2 is $430 shipped."

he's willing to sell them together for $650?

just FYI you might need to trim the RHD battery so it'll fit. the posting says use a razor blade, i say use a dremel it's faster and will look neater.
