OGC Video Options

I just wanted to get some feedback about the OGC video we're planning on putting together. Btw, this is also a seperate project from the OGC music video I'm presently working on. But footage from the OGC meet/video shoot I'm planning on doing here in Indy would be used in it too.

First, I'd like to know what type of video would you guys like to have to represent us. For example would you guys like a commercial quality (i.e. documentary/television) type of video or a general quality (i.e. YouTube/Online) type of video.

I mentioned to Jeremy that I have two friends that do visual media and he asked me to post some of their info and see if you guys were interesed in working with any of them. Both of my friends charge for their services so I wasn't sure if you guys were interested in going that route. So if you guys can let me know what type of direction you'd like to go with this project I can see what options I have to help.

Here's their info just in case anyone was interested....

I have a friend named Tony who lives up North in South Bend, IN who's been going to school for visual media for the past 2 years and he'd be able to do a very good quality photo and video shoot for us and he'd probably only want gas money and a small amount of cash in his pocket to come down and do everything. Which even if every OGC member who's actually involved with this project just chipped in $5-10 dollars a piece that would probably cover that.

Then I have a friend named Keith (www.youtube.com/keithnicolini) who has a more extensive resume and actually does Weddings, Commercials, Instructional Videos, Movies, etc.... He's actually the guy who did my official music video for my last CD that I have out now. He charges $75 dollars an hour for shooting and editing but his work is top notch.

I will vote in once I hear what more people say. I dont mind chipping in for the video, but I would like to make sure that others will as well.

Post up what you think people!

Post a link to some of both guys work if you can....I don't think having someone with some some experience is a bad idea, but what are we really gonna do with this video? I would like something better than a home movie, but how high quality do we wanna go?

Here's some examples of my friend Keith's latest work. The 1st one is a commercial to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of my buddy Gabe's clothing line and the 2nd one is a commercial for a local custom shop in Mishawaka, IN. www.youtube.com/keithnicolini

Looks good except for the fact that the OGC gets filmed in Indy.

I thought it was to my understanding that OGC was just looking for somebody to edit and make a video showcasing various clips/photos from different meets/shows that members have recorded from over the past year and the music video shoot for me down here in Indianapolis was an extra opportunity for us to gather together and obtain more footage of us to be used in the overall project. Or am I wrong?
