ok no love in this thread for a while so il jump back on. i need that plastic under peice that proects i guess the oil pan and what not at the front. mine is held up with rope and still sags. but i dont know what its called or where to get one. where do i get it?

 

Do u want the plastic version like the car has now, or did u want to get get the metal one? I think Rare Jdm and a couple other companies make a metal one and that is what I would get if I were replacing mine. Do a search for it and I will see if I can find the thread...

so i'm looking to get tint on my car, i saw that ohio laws it states that 50% is max, but talking to people at my work some have 35%, 30% or 20% all the way around and have not been pulled over, I was curious of what % you guys have and how many times you have been pulled over (guys mentioned when they get pulled over to roll down both windows) Also I took the front license plate off my car and stuck it in the windshield, so I was wondering if having a darker tint in the front windeshield would make me a target to get pulled over...

Also working at the dealership I get a discount at Ziebart for tint and they'll charge me $120 total, anyone got theirs done cheaper? Also I read that because of the GPS and our radio set up, we need to get ceramic tint so it won't interfere with it. Talking with Ziebart, the asst. manager has a black G35 sedan and said he did not get ceramic tint on his G and everything works fine... anyone here they need ceramic tint?

 

50% is the law, but plenty of people have gotten away with.darker. I have 35% and I have been fine for 5 years. Im not sure about the ceramic tint, honestly never heard of it either and I used to install it years ago.

 

i have 35% on the driver and passenger side and 75% on the front windshield.. No problems yet.

another question lol,... i'm bored at work,... i was looking to get a z tube also,.. there's an oem z tube and the stillen z tube... are these basically the same or is one slightly better than the other?? the stillen can come in a nice chrome finish vs the black oem

also i'm runnin 35% but usually when it's nice out I also have the sunroof open to let light inside the windows.

Talked to a local cop here in Columbus that runs my old gym and he said that if he can see your face inside the car then he won't pull you over - he said a majority of the cbus cops use that rule.

 

sucks to be in ohio, i have 4% on the sides and front strip. most ive ever got in 3 cars is a warning.
