Thanks! At first I was wanting black, but this color has grown on me and it is different. I love it now!

Thanks Arnab. I was torn between the manual and the auto. I did not actually test drive the manual, but I did drive the auto and I loved it. I like the option to be lazy and not have to shift if I don't want to. The sychro-rev on the the auto makes it a lot of fun two.

So this weekend turned into quite the adventure! Melissa was given orders not to work this weekend because of high blood pressure so we figured we would turn the weekend into a little vacation to relax and pick the car up ourselves instead of having it shipped up. We didn't leave Friday evening until around six as we rented a car one way down to Roanoke, VA . On the way down, I had forgotten about the toll roads on 77 going through West Virginia and we did not have enough cash for all of them. After going through the first one we decided to get off at the next exit and see if we could find an ATM. At this time, it was well past dark and and what appeared to be a cute town in the mountains turned out to be a run down town out of some horror movie lol. After driving for a couple of miles...

Luckily, the cop was cool and just gave me a warning even though I was doing 12 mph over the speed limit. I think he felt bad for us and told us that we were in a bad area and shouldn't be there. He gave us directions to a gas station that had an ATM and sent us on our way. When we got to the gas station, lets just say I was glad our rental car was a Ford and I am white as Jeremy pointed out a couple of years ago on our Hocking Hills drive

We finally got back on the freeway and made it down to Roanoke about 12:30am after fighting rain, fog, and sleep. We get to the hotel and this place at one time would have been a beautiful hotel...at one time. Now it's smells musty and and Melissa wouldn't step foot on the floor without at least her flip flops on. It was a crappy night of sleep to say the least.

The next morning we ate breakfast and went over to the dealership. When we got there the car was sitting out. Now all the pictures I had seen and from what I was told, was that this car was in perfect shape. I wondered why the cheap price...well I found out as soon as I got there. Looking over the car showed curb rash on two wheels, two paint chips on the drivers door, and then a lot of superficial scratches that I am pretty sure I can buff out.

I almost did not buy the car at that point. After talking to Melissa and Jeremy and after I test drove it I decided that I can fix the issues that are bugging me and still be ahead in value. The car is absolutely gorgeous and you do not see the issues until you are looking for stuff. I was just expecting more I guess. There was also an airbag light flashing, but that was fixed quickly as it turned out that there was an aftermarket system in it and when they put the stock unit back in they forgot to hook up the sensor

Even through all that, it had still been a fun and entertaining time. After that was awesome! We drove about 5 hours over to Virginia Beach and stayed the night on the beach in a gorgeous hotel that Melissa had found online for $75 plus tax!

And then we got to wake up to this

Sunday we spent all day driving and I am so glad I got this car! It is a blast to drive and not all that bad for road trips either.

Our salesman, Steve @ First Team Auto Mall was awesome and did a good job handling any concerns that I had. Even with the little issues, I still recommend him and would buy another car from him.

Now I just need a good solid weekend to detail the car properly

Paint chips can be filled

the wheels can be fixed for $100 or so each at a wheel shop

the superficial stuff comes out with a random orbital buffer

J's right, you'll be up on its value.

And congratulations!

My car had some similar issues when I picked it up. Rashed wheels, paint chips galore on the hood and a slightly damaged front bumper. The wheels I replaced anyways so didn't care, the car I may repaint at some point if I keep it, and the bumper I may just get a new shell again if I keep it.
More important is the internals and mechanical components. If it's clean there, then you should be okay to fix the superficial stuff as you see fit. I always suggest a PPI before hand but it's a bit late for that now.

It is nissan certified so it comes with the big powertrain warranty. The engine bay and interior look like it did the day it hit the showroom.
