The great debate...G or Z

Ok guys...I'm looking to get into a new ride. Some of you have probably seen the debate between my fiance and I on facebook about what car to get. I thought I would make it fun and see what everyone else thought as well.

So the debate goes like this. I drive a beat up pick up truck right now that runs fine, it just looks like crap. I sold my G35 coupe last year and have been wanting another sporty car lately. She drives a Pacifica and that is important because we are combining families and there are the two of us and four kids.

I want to get a G37 coupe and she is pushing me to get a 370Z. I argue that the interior of the G is far more refined and we have a couple of small back seats should we have to pick up a kid or two from somewhere. She argues that the Z is prettier and it simply means we won't have the kids while out driving in it. The kids obviously are pulling for the G

Now I love performance, but I like a little refinement as well so I am torn. We are planning on test driving both, but I thought it would be fun to see what everyone else had to say about it.

When the chikdren start paying for the new ride, that is when their opinion will count. And since I'm obviously smarter than you, my vote counts as two and therefore it is the Z

well i see two votes on the poll for G and none for the Z. If your two votes are worth something, put them on the poll Melissa :P

Personally it's what you want in terms of end result. The Z weighs less but the G's interior is nicer. You will be looking at the interior 90% of the time.

What about an fx35 with a body kit, someone has a grey one that looks sick out in Cali. Might be better for the family. I wouldn't even consider the Z with a family says the single guy.

I thought about that but the fx still only seats five and we have six. There are six of us and we have the pacifica so if we were planning on going somewhere with all of us we would take it.

I'm not for sure what I want Ben. Lol. Melissa is right about the looks and fun factor on the Z and she will drive it too I'm sure.

is there that much of a difference between the g37 and 370 in terms of performance? You aren't looking at a Nismo 370 are you?

If I am not mistaken the z has a sportier suspension and less weigh. The engine outputs are the same.

i dont know u but hey, were gamily according to this website. but i sat in a Z when my G was getting clean, and although id like to have a Z, i found i was to tall for it. im only 6'1" but my G seat is all the way back and with a lean to it. i cant do that in the Z so i was uncomfortable. and you never no if ur out in the Z and have to pick up a kid or 2 and one has to go in the trunk. which is illegal haha. id go G, only cause i see what to many Zs on the road.

Z-alll the way, go hard or go home. If you want a sports car get a sports car. Why worry about picking up the kids in the Z when you have a truck and a pacifica.
