The indoor track is what I would love...garunteed fun even if its raining.

I used to go to some in Germany when I was stationed there... Great times!

I forgot to mention that those sometimes include the requisite license fees, and if you for whatever reason have an annual license it's about $20-30 per race, if that's an easier pill to swallow.

Still, the places Max listed seems to be considerably cheaper than the places I've been to.

i've been to competition racing, it's cool, but because it's indoors the karts are speed limited. the track is a smooth concrete floor though so you can do some sliding....and and you have to wear a helmet.
