Time for an update.

Total list of things Huck's Machine Shop did for me:

1. Clean Block, Valves, Valve Covers, and Heads
2. Inspect and Deck heads flat
3. Magnaflux Crank, Grind, and polish
4. Inspect block
5. Bore, hone, and match block to pistons
6. Recondition stock rods with ARP bolts
7. Assemble rods and pistons with pressed in wrist pins (THEY DID IT FOR FREE!!)
8. Replace cam bearings
9. Full balance of rotating assembly
10. Ground flywheel (THEY DID IT FOR FREE!!)
11. Furnished Main and Rod bearings

Final machine shop cost with ARP rod bolt, main bearings, and rod bearings: $1335.41

Be sure and clean out every bolt hole Especally the Head bolt holes on that block before torqing to it! LSx blocks have blind = closed on one end- bolt holes, Cleaning and Machiening leave all kinds of sh*t in them, if you torque to liquid or dirt in one of these holes you will crack that block. I'm over on LS1 tech Too since I've had my formally LS1 now LS6 Z28 longer than My G35. ARP has a special long thread cleaner just for the head holes summit sells it or you might be able to get a used one off LS1Tech.

Yup, I will be doing a through look thru and clean over the next week. Then it is off to checking clearances and fitment.
