Hello, I am putting my Audi A6 4.2 Quattro widebody up for sale. It shares the same widebody that the S6 has. Only reason I am selling is so I can buy a newer Audi S6 wagon. I LOVE this car, and it has givin me no problems at all. She drives perfect and is very fun to drive.

Might try and not tell people its a widebody a6 4.2 b/c all of the 4.2L A6 had that body and it is certainly not custom. But it looks way better than the 3.0and 2.7t trim. You're also at 99,XXX miles and selling which means either your extended warranty has just expired and you need to get rid of it before the expensive stuff happens. I had to do the same thing with my 2001 S4 hit 100k, my extended warranty spent over 16,000 bucks on it. Good luck with the sale.

 

But it is the S6 "widebody" so I can call it that. You had to spend a lot of money on your S4 because it had the twin turbos (2.7tt) and that is one of the most unreliable motors around.

The 4.2 V8 from Audi is next to bullet-proof. Have had no problems at all. And she runs very very strong and solid.

YES it is "widebody" never said it was a custom widebody. You of all people should know, you have the "narrowbody" A6. Come on now.

not pulling hairs bro but never did audi call my a6 a "narrow body". it was a term used by enthusiast to distinguish 4.2's with 2.8 2.7t.3.0's. all the a6 has is fender flares and door sills. all im saying is ure title says audi a6 4.2 quattro widebody. thats like saying bmw e46 m3 widebody cuz they have fender flares over the 3 series.

anyways gluck with ure sale. i miss my a6 =(
