I've seen bone stock (which actually pulls a premium) Supra's go for over $60,000!

Sorry, but everyone is right, your VR4 is definitely a sweet ride but it is NOT a Supra. Plus, VR4's motors are junk, no offense. I've actually blown a stock vr4 motor myself.

GL with the sale. I think you'd probably do better with a price around $10,000 Just my .02

blowing a motor doesn't mean it's junk, but junk driver/maintenance...

I'd get one but I have no way of safely getting a video... I don't have a mount for the car and it's a bit hard to drive, shift, and video at the same time >.<

I'll see what I can do...

Hey, no problem if you can't. I was just curious. Looks like a real fun car to drive. How does it stack up to a G? Bump!!

Heavier, but faster.

We did a few runs with a 6MT G37, and the Mitsu will pull regardless of the speed, even with the ultra tall gearing. Once the turbos spool, the torque is just sickening for a stock car....

What would you get, a G or the 3000GT VR4?

If I had the choice to get either one brand new for the same price? VR-4 hands down. Power bolsters and lumbar in a 15 year old car?

I had a 92 VR4 a few years back, freakin' loved that car. They really were ahead of their time. Read some dated articles from Car and Driver and such from when the car was first released, they described it as a concept car come to life. Heavy car, but handles very well and is very fast.

Although most of the extra features really don't do much, it is pretty cool to push buttons watch your spoiler move or make the springs stiffer.

As far as the motors go, the original design from 91 and 92 were bad, they spun rod bearings requiring a full rebuild. However late in 92 that was fixed and the engines were rock solid afterwards. The only worry you may have would be some lifter tick, but that's easily fixed with updated lifters. (~$100)

Bump for a solid car, Ever since I was 12 I dreamed of the day I would own one. Sold it for a BMW 3 series which was then replaced by my G. I go through cars a lot... Some day I will own the mystical 1999 VR4 of which only several hundred exist. They really are a great car.

Oh, and definately faster than my 05 coupe 6mt... much to my dismay.

GL on the sale, I myself have a 95 VR4 of course modified just like my G

I have been contemplating selling mine one day also but just can't seem to let go of her, I have 500awhp and did the 1/4 mile in 11.6 not to shabby for a 13 year old car.
