Personally, if I ever attempted to do the project of that size, I would've swapped the engine first along with added twin turbo and leave the body untouched.
Next, post pics/videos, let others drool, get sponsors then ask for ideas regarding body, rims, color etc.
I don't think anyone on this board have done anything like it, so not much help for any advice on fitment and mechanical details.
Good luck, but whatever the shop doing the work the craftmanship is in question based on those welds and overall assembly.

And here is the body. Scratch stickers, add individualism (paint color, wide body kit if needed) the car is fine

 

its a good thing he didnt ask for your opinion the isnt it? its his car and whether u like what he does with the car wont phase him. since he has the money to pull it off without completely tackyin his car with sponsor stickers. also it is unfair to compare his car to the TOP SECRET v35.

 

Too bad that Top Secret 350GT is worth about $340,000. Roughly 40K for the shell, and 300K to build it as they did...

 

i think you should paint the overlays body color. i cant wait to see the finished product.
well, whatever it ends up looking like, it's still a sick project. just as long as you are satisfied who cares what anyone else thinks.

 

I would do a lot of other things with 340k than build a G35

340k ? Sounds like a waste to me.

 

Where'd you get the info that the TS 350gt is worth $340k? Thats a little much.

Damn that's more than enough for a G for every day of the week.

 

Read up on the top secret V35, they explicitly say that it cost them 300K to build it with the parts they did.
