I think you made this thread too early. There's too much anticipation and not enough updates. I want to see it so badly, that I don't even want to see it lol.

ahhhh, i went from page 1 to current to catch everything and not see end result pic. can't wait for the finished project. u seriously have the mod bug. thats for sure.

 

You know what sux is the new G35 will be out by the time this car is done. Then no one will care.

anyone notice how most of the people hating on this project are from the west coast i think we have a bunch of haters on our hands awww whats the matter upset cause you wont see the car in person....line up at the magazine rack cause ill bet my G on it this **** makes a magazine for sure....and for those of you comparing it to top secret ummmm this is an amatuer build not a shop that is known through out the world for building race cars.....

 

WELL, Im on the west and Im not hating because of your reasons. Here I go The work looks sketch. I know its not done but when you build cars you know things to look for along the build process. I think the key words are "amatuer build" Because if it were a real shop it might get done. You have to remember this project has to be done to get to a magazine rack. BTW Ill take that bet ! You dont post this kind of stuff on a forum and not post updates. All your doing is opening up a can of worms.

 

Both valid points. I do believe some of the "sketchiness" can be attributed to just posting pics because he's tired of all the "harassment". I agree that a few updates, even if life has side tracked you, would do alot to qwell the constant barrage of questions. On the other hand, because this is an "amateur build" I have a lot more respect for it than some of the others. Its easy to pay someone to do all the work for you and it may turn out better if you do BUT it allows the common person to think "hey I might be able to do that". That breeds creativity and new designs. More and more we are seeing cookie cutter kits or the same designs over and over. Fresh blood is always a good thing. As for the "west coast haters", there are some but in general, I believe our community is more united than divided. There are east coast haters, southern haters, haters in general. They dont annoy me nearly as much as the "purist" haters who seem almost "self rightious" at times. JMHO
