No M7 ever existed, but there's a guy over on the BMW forums with a supercharged 6-speed manual tranny 740iL which is probably the closest you'll ever get. I still like the old E38 styling, I think it's pretty classy.

there's a video around somewhere that shows him shipping it over to Germany and taking it for a spin on the Autobahn.

I disagree. Nothing is as nice as the older 7's with beatiful paint, nice wheels and a slight drop....especially a black one. With the right wheels, I'd rather have it than any other german car...except maybe the CLS and CL.

We re-ramped a new E39 M5 diff and bought a custom driveshaft since the iL never came with the manual tranny option.
