Why were your wipers in the up position? Also, they put CHAINS around the rim...ouch!.

I did see the truck coming at me in my rearview a good second before it hit me. I didn't have any time to react at all and there was nothing I could have done anyway. It hit me at about 40~50mph I'm guessing... obviously enough momentum to send me into the car in front and for that car to hit yet another car in front of him. You can already see in the pics that the semi had almost zero damage, and the chevy truck in front of me only had a dent on its trunk. Yes my car held up pretty well but it was still crushed like a jdm soda can. I'll be getting money from insurance and I'm also planning to take legal action. I did get slightly injured during the impact. Taking care of everything for now... not thinking about a new car just yet

P.S. My rims are salvageable. I'll be going to the yard to take them off soon... the tow hook didn't leave much of a marking on the rim either (to my surprise). I'll have them carefully inspected and then they'll probably go up for sale soon
Get a lawyer asap (not the one that the insurance company provides) and then sue the $hit out of the truck driver, his company if possible, and sue your own insurance company if you have full tort. Also, make an appointment to go to rehab. And no, you did not get slightly injured! You have been damaged and can no longer enjoy pleasures in life and will probably have life long pain. SUE SUE SUE
