The paint isn't great, but I believe what your seeing is that it's just dirty and the sunset.

Only the Jetta GLI sees the snow in our household....blizzacks ftw!

 

Kit lens my friend. It was my second day with the camera and I just had to snap some shots of my car and various other nature things.

As for the lip.... well it has shoveled it share of snow when we had the big dump but all the veilside kit pieces need to be repainted so I'm not concerned at this point. I'm very careful!
