haha Drew you decide on keeping the G yet?? every time i see VS-XX's with chrome/super polished lips it makes me wish my Gnosis could have chrome lips too

 

Work is neither. LOL. They annodize the lips with clear.

Yea. I'll still test drive a 335, but I will stick with the G. I may sell an get an 07 with low miles, and just swap parts over.

 

^^I guess i was refering to that but also the fact that you can actually take apart the vs-xx's unlike the gnosis which are "2 piece" rims but the barrel and face are forged together and the bolts are just for show.....smh

 

Take the faces off and have them dip the outside lip only in chrome?

 

they won't....asked a bunch of times and they said its not possible

 

possible to strip the clear coat / anodizing and high polish?

 

the faces are like brushed...so they have a semi "polished look"

So basically i will have to hand polish the lips to get them anywhere near what i want...

 

I was getting really close to ordering those same wheels... I was wondering why some gnosis have the anodized lip and some have the high polish, like the gnosis hs201 vs the gs like:

^^yeah i know they are basically the exact same design almost but the hs201's lip is like mirror finished while the gs1's are much duller

I guess they are better in person i hear but i'm hoping i'll be able to get my lips to look like the hs201's in that thread


Funny thing is my final 2 choices were the gs4's and the hs202's (which also look exactly the same) but didn't realize that there really was a difference in the lips polish...
